Last night I decided to go through my craft supplies to get some get some inspiration for future projects. I came across a plaid neon flower and decided to finally use it for something…but what? I carried it around the house, asked for some advice on Instagram, and finally it hit me when I went to pet my adorable dog. I’ll make an embellished dog collar! Better yet, an interchangeable embellished dog collar so the flower can be switched out!

Meet Mini Pickles, my long-haired miniature dachshund!

What you need:

• Plain Dog Collar (I bought mine at Walmart)
• Fabric Flower(s) (I bought mine at Michaels)
• Needle & Thread
• Hot Glue Gun
• Sew-On Snaps

What you need to do:

• Place collar on your dog and mark or note where you would like the flower to go.
• Using hot glue gun, glue bottom snap to dog collar. Reinforce with thread if you want.
• Glue top snaps to the back of your flowers. Reinforce with thread if you want.
• Snap flower to your collar. You’re done!
