So, you read about my love for cards here, right? Well, I feel similarly about wedding invitations and baby announcements! Yes, I’m one of those people that cannot throw these things away! I hang on to them forever and always wish that there was something I could do with them. Now, thanks to Pinterest, I found the perfect project that doubles as a creative and meaningful gift. This is PERFECT for a Couple’s or Baby’s First Christmas!

Invitation/Announcement Ornament

What you need to make this ornament:

• Clear Glass Ornament – I bought a 4 pack at Michael’s for $3
• Ribbon
• Invitation or Announcement
• Pen or Pencil

Steps:

1. Cut invitation or announcement into approximately half-inch strips.
2. Curl each strip around a pen or pencil. They will hold a spiral shape.
3. Remove top from ornament and insert strips into ornament.
4. Replace top and add ribbon!
