Get The Look: Campaign Furniture

I’ve completely fallen in love with campaign furniture. What is campaign furniture, you ask? It’s any piece specifically made to breakdown or fold for ease of travel, mainly used by officers in the military in the 18th and 19th centuries! You may have seen them before in pictures, usually a mahogany chest with brass caps and hinges.

Sadly, I haven’t been lucky enough to find an authentic piece for my home. That being said, I have not given up on getting “the look”! I’ve been working hard on my very own DIY campaign chest that I cannot wait to share with you next week. It’s practically finished, I’m just waiting for the drawer pulls to arrive. For now, check out my inspiration!
