Look We Love: Chinoiserie!

Look We Love: Chinoiserie!

Bamboo, Ginger Jars, Greek Key, Foo Dogs, Navy & White…

What do all of these things have in common? They are all elements of Chinoiserie design! As you can see below, Chinoiserie today looks a little bit different than it did in the 17th & 18th centuries. Now, it’s clean, fresh, and incredibly chic. I love this design style and am definitely planning on incorporating it in my new home this spring!

What’s so great is that Chinoiserie inspired pieces are relatively easy to find these days! Check out this new line by Target, it’s totally affordable and absolutely inspired by Chinese design!

For more Chinoiserie inspiration, check out The Pink Pagoda & Chinoiserie Chic, two of my favorite blogs! We also dedicated an entire board to this look on our pinterest page!

Are you loving this design style as much as I am? Have any of you checked our Target’s Modern Cottage collection in the store? What do you think?
