We love getting our nails done. However, a good manicure can cost $30 and up! In the interest of being chic and thrifty, we are going to teach you how to give yourself an at home french manicure that will rival any that you will get in a salon.

Tools Needed:

Steps:
  1. Start with clean bare nails. Trim your nails to the desired length.
  2. File nails so that they are squared off.
  3. Buff the tops of nails. This is a crucial step because it makes the polish go on easier.
  4. Push back your cuticles and trim them.
  5. Take a piece of tape about 2 inches long and place it behind the curve of the tip of your nail leaving the tip exposed. This may seem difficult, but it’s pretty easy. You just have to maneuver the tape and secure each end to the sides of your finger.
  6. Paint the tip of your nail with white polish.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each nail. As the polish dries on each tip carefully remove the tape.
  8. Once each tip is done and the polish is dry, apply a coat of light pink polish.

That’s it! Super easy and oh so chic!
