I’ve been seeing these acrylic jewelry stands pop up all over the internet and decided that owning one might help me better organize my necklaces. After reading one of my new favorite blogs, Southern Curls & Pearls, I learned that these stands have shown up at Marshalls recently. I decided to take a ride to my nearest store and found this necklace stand. I was happy to find it but sad that it was accented with silver, not fully acrylic or gold. Since I’ve been on my gold jewelry kick lately, I decided that I’d buy it and personalize it to fit my needs. There’s nothing a little spray paint can’t fix, right?! I love the new look of my stand and feel so much more organized now that my jewelry is untangled and neatly on display!

I’ve been trying to hold off on getting into the Halloween spirit until we hit October, however, I could not resist this gold and black skull necklace when I saw it. This little guy is festive, not scary, and will get a lot of wear in the coming month!
